If you’ve been following the PGA Show over the years, you know it’s always a great snapshot of where golf is headed.

But after walking the floor at the 2026 PGA Show, one thing is crystal clear — this was the biggest, most tech-packed show we’ve ever seen.

The shelves were full, the booths were packed, and innovation was everywhere. From next-level golf simulators to ultra-affordable launch monitors, here’s our hands-on roundup of the most exciting golf tech and gear we saw at the 2026 PGA Show.

GOLFZON CityGolf & GDR Max Simulators

The GOLFZON booth once again raised the bar for what a golf simulator can be.

The CityGolf simulator looks like a traditional sim at first, but once you reach the green, things get wild. The screen lifts, a dot is projected on the floor where your ball landed, and you actually finish the hole by putting into a real cup.

It’s a hybrid of golf simulation and real putting, similar to what we’ve seen with the TGL, and it’s incredibly immersive.

Then there’s the new GOLFZON GDR Max, which basically turns everything up to 11. Built-in force plates, face-on and down-the-line swing views, strike location mapping, and tons of data make this one of the most technologically advanced simulators anywhere.

The year-over-year improvements here are impressive.

GENIUS Smart Golf Ball for Putting Analysis

This might be one of the most impressive pieces of tech at the entire show. The GENIUS smart golf ball literally has a launch monitor built into the ball — designed specifically for putting.

You putt with it like a normal ball, but it tracks skid, roll, bounce, launch angle, and even whether the ball is rolling forward or backward. It then scores your putt out of 100 and suggests drills in real time to help you improve.

Each pack includes three balls, and it’s easy to see both coaches and players getting serious value from this.

GENIUS told us this will launch around June, and we’ll definitely be doing a full review once it’s available.

Blue Tees RAINMAKER Personal Launch Monitor

The personal launch monitor market continues to heat up, and Blue Tees is jumping in with the new RAINMAKER launch monitor.

It’s a radar-based unit designed for quick setup on the range, with a built-in screen so you don’t need to pair it to your phone. Blue Tees says it will also work indoors using Titleist RCT balls.

At a projected price of $599, this is firmly in the budget category, and portability is a big win here. We’ll be putting it through a full accuracy test once we get one in the studio, but early impressions are very promising.

Titleist Vokey SM11 Wedges

No PGA Show is complete without a stop at the Titleist booth, and this year everyone was gathered around the new Vokey SM11 wedges.

It’s been two years since the SM10s, and you can see the refinement immediately. Clean shaping, updated stamping, and our personal favorite jet black finish with subtle gray accents looks outstanding in person.

As always, Vokey offers a wide range of loft, bounce, and grind options. We’ll be doing a full fitting and deep dive soon, but first impressions? These look and feel fantastic.

Shot Scope LM1 Budget Launch Monitor

One of the most talked-about products of the show was the Shot Scope LM1. Why? The price.

This radar-based launch monitor is expected to come in at under $200 with no subscription. You’ll get club speed, ball speed, carry distance, and smash factor — which is pretty wild at this price point.

Accuracy will be the big question, and we’ll be testing that soon. But there’s no doubt this is going to turn heads in the budget launch monitor space.

New FootJoy Pro|SL & Premiere Golf Shoes

FootJoy also made a big splash with a complete redesign of the Pro|SL golf shoe. The new version looks far more athletic, with significantly improved tread for a spikeless design and some really sharp colorways.

The FootJoy Premiere line also gets new styles, continuing that perfect blend of classic looks and modern performance. These remain one of the most comfortable “dressy” golf shoes you can wear.

Rapsodo CLM Pro Ceiling-Mount Launch Monitor & New Software

Rapsodo had two big announcements at the 2026 PGA Show. First, brand-new Rapsodo native simulator software that will run on PC and work with the MLM2 Pro, complete with licensed courses.

Even bigger is the Rapsodo CLMPRO — a permanent ceiling-mounted launch monitor with six cameras. Designed for home simulators, it removes the need to constantly set up a floor-based unit.

No pricing or release date yet, but Rapsodo confirmed it’s coming later this year. We’ll absolutely be doing a full hands-on review when it launches.

aboutGOLF Custom Golf Simulators

The aboutGOLF booth stood out thanks to its fully custom simulator builds. Massive curved screens, multiple projectors, and immersive environments make these sims feel more like an attraction than a traditional setup.

The ability to design a simulator for virtually any space — and even add non-golf games — makes this a fascinating trend to watch.

Square Golf OMNI Launch Monitor

Fans of Square Golf will be excited about the upcoming Square Golf OMNI launch monitor. This new version features four cameras, a built-in display, expanded data, and — most importantly — outdoor usability.

Expected to come in around $1,600, it’s larger and more robust than the original Square unit and looks like a major step forward.
