Wesley Bryan’s CRAZY Finish Keeps His PGA TOUR Dreams Alive
Wesley Bryan entered the Valspar Championship on the last event of his medical exemption on the PGA TOUR. Bryan would have to make the cut for the event and finish T51 or better in order to keep his playing rights on the Tour or a finish inside the top six would allow Bryan to keep his full playing rights.
The 2017 RBC Heritage winner was right on the 3-under cut line going into his final two holes on Friday. All he needed were two pars and he was playing into the weekend with a chance to keep his full PGA TOUR card.

Bryan, who started on 10 Friday, stepped up to the par 3 8th tee where he double-crossed his tee shot and ended up in a bush. Bryan had to get on his knees and punch the ball out of the bush and up onto the green. His ball ended up 34 yards out from the green where Bryan pitched it up to two feet and tapped in for bogey.
Standing on the 9th tee, Bryan needed to birdie the par 4 in order to keep his playing hopes alive. He slapped his tee shot down to the left side of the fairway. He hit his approach shot to three feet and made the birdie putt to get back to 3-under and continue playing on the weekend.
Keep and eye out for Bryan to heat up on the weekend and get pretty aggressive out there as he chases his dream of securing his full playing rights on Tour once again.
