Delayed Flights & Rental Clubs: James Nicholas Had A WILD 24 Hours

We have all been late to a tee time before. Maybe we overslept or got stuck behind an accident. Sometimes things just happen.

I’m guessing most of us, especially me have never had to sprint to the first tee box to make a tournament start. For James Nicholas, this was his reality.

I am so glad the cameras were rolling for this. You can see he has no clubs, no shoes and no time to warm up. So what happened? He explains after his round.

What an absolute journey! Flying last minute, the flight delay, sprinting off the plane thanks to some amazing flight attendants and with so much stacked against him, he still gets a spot to compete as the 1st alternate for the Advent Health Championship!

Unfortunately, James didn’t make the cut but the story alone has to be worth a medal or at the very least, a spot in the next tournament.
