Ashley Perez, Wife of LIV Golfer Pat Perez, Takes Shot at Tiger Woods Over Car Accident
Tiger Woods’ long road to recovery from a February 2021 car crash has been well-documented, but count one outspoken golf-related personality as not feeling too much sympathy for the 15-time major winner.
Prior to the Hero World Challenge last week, Woods detailed his future golf plans after having to pull out from his own tournament due to a bout of plantar fasciitis that makes it difficult for him to walk for extended periods of time.
Woods said in a press conference that also made the rounds on social media:
“I can hit golf balls. It’s the walking that just hurts – the goal is to play just the major championships and maybe one or two more – that’s it.”
One of the commenters happened to be Ashley Perez, wife of LIV Golfer Pat Perez—who has also had his share of Tiger criticism as of late.

Mrs. Perez wrote:
“Literally why driving under the influence is ILLEGAL. I don’t feel bad for him. Thank god he didn’t kill anyone. See ya.”
If you recall, Woods was hospitalized after a single-car crash in California nearly two years ago. The police report stated that Woods’ car hit a center median, crossed through the opposing lane of traffic, and hit a tree while rolling over. The report stated that Woods was conscious after the crash, and there was “no evidence of impairment.”
Woods has since said that he nearly had a leg amputated following the wreck.
