Pinehurst #10 has finalized its opening date, before the US Open is heading there in 2024.

The Tom Doak design takes advantage of the natural North Carolina landscape, offering almost 100 feet of elevation change throughout the course.

No. 10 will feature a series of sand dunes and blind shots, huge undulations and rolling hills. It is set to be bigger, bolder, and more dramatic, offering views of the entire landscape at the apex of the course.

Architect Tom Doak said:

““The number one thing that excited us about the project is working with the beautiful sand that’s native to this region,”

“The sand, the wiregrass, the bluestem grass, and other native grasses that grow around the Sandhills create a fabulous texture for golf. It’s something most places just don’t have.”

The cradle of golf continues to amaze – and April 3rd, 2024 is the set date for the opening of the Number 10. Golf fans are eagerly anticipating the chance to book a tee time here, as the US Open returns to Pinehurst in nine months.
