Kirkland Driver Meets USGA Specifications and Joins Conforming List
If you’ve followed Golf Equipment over the last decade, you may have noticed Kirkland Signature, or otherwise known as Costco brand golf equipment.

Kirkland Signature has been working hard to buck this trend in recent with the release of its 100% CNC milled KS1 putter (available for $100) or milled face, 3-piece wedge set (available for $169).

And much earlier this year, we covered that Kirkland also had an iron lineup on its way (which, sadly, still hasn’t come to market), but it seems that we may now know why: they are preparing for a driver release.

Perhaps the first 2024 driver model to appear on the USGA Conforming List is the Kirkland Signature Driver. Details are limited, but what we do know is that it is only registered in 10.5° head right now and that there is a rear-positioned weight to help improve forgiveness and promote higher launch. Otherwise, there are some indications that there may be an adjustable hosel (perhaps to increase or decrease loft by a degree or so), but that’s it. No mention of carbon crowns or faces, funky aerodynamics or A.I. designed anything.

But that’s also not what Kirkland looks to do. Instead, this is aspiring to be a quality product that doesn’t destroy your credit cards. And while nothing is confirmed, there are indications that this could retail at $199.99—or less than a three wood from one of the major OEMs. And if this holds true, it stands that you could potentially have a full set of Kirkland golf clubs for less than $1,000 (excluding a three wood and hybrid, which I anticipate are also in the Kirkland pipeline).
Keep your eyes on our website and social channels for more details about the upcoming 2024 product releases, which are going to start coming in fast and furious over the next few weeks.
