Dressed to the Nines with STITCH Golf

There are countless golf apparel brands out there; those you’ve heard of and those you haven’t. Because of that, it’s imperative that you find one that speaks to you. Maybe it’s how everything fits, the materials they use or just the looks.

But why I know for certain is that STITCH Golf speaks to me:

Founded in 2018, STITCH Golf is a brand that draws heavy inspiration from my other passion in life—motorsport. Indeed, at the center of STITCH is the ethos of “superleggera,” an Italian that stands for superlight, strong and durable, all of which are characteristics that are fundamental to motorsport and, as a result, STITCH, too.

Because no matter whether you’re looking at headcovers or pullovers, STITCH’s products check all three of those boxes.

I recently added three pieces from STITCH’s recent fall collection—the Canal Stripe Polo in Moonlight, Bleecker Stripe Polo in Forged Grey and Scout ¼ Zip pullover in Dark Forest.

Starting with the polos, which are, arguably, the centerpiece to any golf outfit, both the Canal Stripe and Bleecker Stripe are made with a lightweight, polyester blend that is paired with signature under-buttons that help the collar stay tied down. And that’s important because STITCH polos look great—there are numerous colors and patterns—with minimal branding and, therefore, can be worn on the golf course, in the office or out on date night.

To wit, STITCH’s polos may very well be the first (and only) ones that I’ve come across that I put on in the morning, travel a few hours on a plane, play a round of golf and then go to dinner and look like they’re fresh off the hanger—no wrinkles, no floppy collar, no wilting. And I know this because I’ve done it with my STITCH pieces, and with some other brands’ offerings (and let’s just say the latter didn’t even survive the flight).

Similarly, the Scout ¼ Zip pullover is one of the pieces that make up their throughout layers. You see, rather than just releasing a collection with various top layers, STITCH has put the thought into a layering system that is specifically developed for different weather conditions—this way you feel good and play good.

The Scout—which is perfect for when it’s between 50 and 60—is the second lightest piece in the lineup (and lightest long-sleeve), which also makes it perfect for wearing in the house, the office or the clubhouse. It also means that it’s probably the pullover that would get the most use in your collection for when there’s those early spring rounds around the Masters, and late fall rounds leading up to club championship.

And like their polos, there’s no heavy branding; just a wide range of colors and patterns so it can be paired with whatever look you decide to go with.

All of the STITCH pieces have been incredible, and it’s because they are superleggera—they are lightweight, strong and durable. The polos have held up and never lose their shape, whether I’m wearing them all day at the office or golfing. Nor have the polos or ¼ zip lost their shape and fit despite being washed a handful of times. Simply put, they are strong, durable and, most importantly, are stylish.

All of this, of course, makes STITCH apparel—as well as their premium golf accessories, like their leather driver, fairway, hybrid and putter headcovers—excellent holiday gifts. Add in that you can save up to 40% OFF Everything on the website right now, and there’s no reason to look elsewhere.
