The FedEx Cup Playoffs are upon us and will begin in Memphis, Tennessee, at the FedEx St. Jude in two weekends.

The Top 70 players in the FedEx Cup Standings will be admitted to the St. Jude, with the Top 50 advancing to the following week’s BMW Championship.

However, there are a handful of big names that are set to miss out on the FedEx Cup Playoffs altogether:

Rickie Fowler

Sitting in 102nd place, Rickie Fowler is 32 spots outside of the automatic qualification for the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Fowler has returned some of his form in recent seasons, capturing his first win in years last year at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. He even made the U.S. Ryder Cup Team, but his consistency has faltered.

Fowler will likely need a win this weekend at the Wyndham Championship to have any chance of making it to Memphis.

Davis Riley

Although he has captured a win this year with a triumph at the Charles Schwab Challenge, Davis Riley finds himself just one spot outside of the Top 70.

Riley sits in a prime position to still make the Top 70, but will need to put together a solid four rounds of golf this coming weekend.

Riley sits only a handful of points ahead of 72nd-place Andrew Putnam but is only 2.7 points behind Victor Perez, who holds the 70th position as of this week.

Lucas Glover

Lucas Glover captured two wins last year and found himself in prime position to make a run at the TOUR Championship. After winning the Wyndham Championship, he followed it up with a win at the St. Jude in the first round of the Playoffs, surprising nearly everyone.

The 44-year-old Glover sits in 75th place and will need another solid finish to make the playoffs. With his first win last year coming at this weekend’s Wyndham Championship, bet on seeing Glover in Memphis.

Keith Mitchell

Keith Mitchell has played 21 events this year, accumulating 3 Top 10s and 9 Top 25s. He’s missed six cuts this year and made $1.608 million.

But Mitchell finds himself on the chopping block as he heads into the weekend in 78th place. He is less than 100 points behind Victor Perez for the 70th position, but with names like Riley, Putnam, Kitayama, Glover, and others ahead of him, he will need a lights-out performance this weekend.

Mitchell’s best finish on TOUR this year was T9 at the American Express and the Cognizant Classic.
