Full Swing and Garmin Integrate Clippd to Supercharge Performance
Amateur golfers are always looking to get better. The problem is that we all need to find a way to get better while still handling our day-to-day life and responsibilities: going to work, picking up the kids from school, or cooking dinner.
So, if you have any hopes of meaningfully improving, you will need an efficient, high-value plan.

Clippd is a unique, data-driven performance platform that helps golfers understand where and how they can improve their game. Using AI, Clippd looks to analyze data—whether it’s from the course, practice area, or simulator—and help identify your golfing strengths and weaknesses, which can then reveal what facets of your game need the most work to improve.
To leverage Clippd, you can manually enter data through the smartphone app. But I think the most recent announcement is the best way to help you go low. Specifically, Clippd has announced new integration partnerships with Full Swing and Garmin Golf.

Going in alphabetical order, Full Swing’s integration with Clippd is done through the KIT launch monitor. Regardless if you’re using your KIT at home or on the range, by integrating it with Clippd, golfers will be provided with instant, data-driven insights into their performance.
Specifically, Clippd will provide a “Shot Quality” score (between 0 and 200) for every shot. While that is valuable in itself, where it becomes supercharged is taking those shot ratings into Full Swing’s premium app, where golfers can launch a 60-shot Combine Assessment and receive a comprehensive Shot Quality scoring for each part of their bag.
After conducting the Combine Assessment, golfers will have a much clearer picture of what portions of their game—wedges, irons, woods—need more love and attention.

With respect to the Garmin integration, users of the Approach CT10 sensors will be able to better leverage their on-course performance to get a deeper analysis of their game beyond their total score, fairways and greens hit, and total putts.
Susan Lyman, Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing, said:
“We’re excited to work with Clippd to provide our customers even more ways to work on their golf game. This integration helps users to easily visualize all parts of their game and identify the areas where they can make the biggest improvements.”
After seamlessly integrating Garmin shot data into the Clippd, golfers will be provided with a better analysis of, among other things:
- Player Quality: View skill levels—overall and for each part of the gam,e from the tee box to the putting green.
- Shot Quality: Track precise measurements of the quality of each shot.
- Importance To Scoring: Identify the skills that drive the best scores.
- What To Work On: Follow personalized, data-based practice plans.
- Trends: See overall patterns in each part of the game—from drive to putt.
Piers Parnell, Clippd CEO, said:
“We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Garmin, a leader in GPS technology and wearables. This will enable us to integrate Garmin’s golf data into our performance software, providing golfers with a more comprehensive and accurate picture of their game. We are proud to be the first company to integrate Garmin’s golf data into our platform, and we believe this agreement will transform the way golfers track and analyze their performance, enabling them to get better faster.”
To take advantage of this new partnership, regardless if you’re a Full Swing KIT or Garmin Approach CT10 user (or, ideally, both), users must have active accounts with Clippd and Full Swing and/or Garmin. Next, link the accounts so data can be imported into Clippd to start generating Shot Quality scores and more.
