Golfers are always looking for opportunities to improve their game, often enlisting coaches to help them out. Apparently however, for a pretty penny, one of your coaches could end up being the GOAT himself.

Tiger Woods returned to golf a few weeks ago at the Hero Challenge after a long hiatus that was filled with health and personal issues that plagued him dating all the way back to 2014. And in his return to the Hero Challenge, Woods was better than almost anyone expected, even leading the tournament by himself at one point.

Now a hot commodity, Tiger decided to get involved in a charity event that was helping to raise money for hurricane relief. In the event that is run by PGA TOUR pros Chris Stroud and Billy Gates, Tiger put up for auction a chance to have a private golf lesson with himself as the host. And in the bidding, Tiger’s lesson scored $210,000 for the charity fund.

Overall, the event was a huge success and Stroud was especially happy with the turnout and participation. “It’s been amazing,” Stroud said. “This is the best event I have ever been a part of. And this is just the start. We have a long way to go for recovery to this city and we want to keep going with this and raise as much as we can and help as many victims as we can.”

On top of the charity auction, Stroud and Gates also hosted a Hurricane Harvey Relief Pro-Am Fundraiser before the event at Bluejack National, one of the courses that was designed by Tiger. Many other PGA Pros made it out for the event, including Stacy Lewis, Patrick Reed and Ben Crenshaw. Local Houston sports figures also made an appearance, such as T.J. Yates, Clyde Drexler and Jim Crane.

In total, the charity was able to raise over $1 million in relief. Tiger’s golf lesson was certainly one of the biggest money makers of the event and hopefully, he will continue offering his services at charity events because people would love to spend a day learning from the best.
