Curtis Strange Calls Out Rahm and Landry on Twitter
Curtis Strange was none too happy about Jon Rahm and Andrew Landry’s friendliness during their playoff at the CareerBuilder Challenge yesterday.

Strange is not the first to express disdain for this new generation’s tendency to, well, like each other. But he is one of the few within the golfing world to complain about it.
Typically, the noise about golfers being too friendly with each other during competition comes from the likes of Stephen A. Smith who complained last year about Sergio and Justin Rose’s Masters finish.
Strange referred to his own rivalry against Nick Faldo in the 1988 U.S. Open, which was decided by a full 18-hole playoff in which he apparently said “zero words” to Faldo during the entire round.
Which side are you on? Would you prefer the two players fighting for a trophy wear scowls during the final round or playoff?
Or are you of the belief that golf is not ultimately against another player, but instead yourself versus the course and its architect? Is it okay if competitors chat and compliment each other on a Sunday?
