Ed DiTusa and I check out Power of the Golf Ball!

No Description

It’s called Power of the Golf Ball and it’s a one-stop shop for everything golf.

They have everything from an independent chipping and putting area, to six simulator bays, to a full club-fitting service.

Beginning with the simulators, Power of the Golf Ball employs state-of-the-art GolfZon Vision simulators and the GolfZon Vision Swing plate. The combination of the two provides the most enhanced and realistic simulator experience possible.

The unique thing about the simulator bays is that the floor moves!

You read that right.

The floor will tilt based on your lie!

Unlike most simulators where every shot is taken from the same area and a flat surface, Power of the Golf Ball’s simulators have a floor that tilts to provide the most realistic playing experience a golfer can find. The hitting bays also have separate sections to simulate hitting out of the rough or sand. This optimizes the playing experience and allows the teaching professionals to fine tune every part of a player’s game.

The owner of this facility is Ollen Stephens and he’s is a Master PGA Teaching Professional who gained master teaching certification in 2015. In addition to Ollen’s teaching career, he has published a book by the same name of his facility “How To Overcome The Power Of The Golf Ball”. Published in June of 2014, his book covers topics that will help someone just starting out or a player looking to elevate their game to the next level.

And as if first class simulators, a short game practice area, and a plethora of top-tier quality teachers wasn’t enough, this facility houses another company within their walls.

Cool Clubs offers a tour quality fitting experience that is accessible to anyone. Cool Clubs is a worldwide company, but Power of the Golf Ball has Dennis Plant.

Dennis has been voted a top fitter in the country. Cool Clubs offers fitting for every part of your game. Besides drivers and irons, Cool Clubs has what can only be referred to as “The Beast.” A massive, multi camera, state of the art putter fitting area that is guaranteed to get the most out of you and your putter.

Kris McEwen and I were lucky enough to get a tour of the facility earlier this Spring and to say it was impressive is an understatement.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
