Birthplace of The Birdie: 18 Holes at Atlantic City Country Club

It was 6:04am at the Borgata Hotel and Casino and the Starbucks was closed. WTF?

We survived.  In less than 20 minutes we pulled into Atlantic City Country Club, a course that’s been on my bucket list for sometime.

I frequent Atlantic City often, play golf there often, but never played historic ACCC.

Good news is that I didn’t loose any money at the casino the night before, which gave us an idea before we went out.  Since ACCC is the ‘Birthplace of the Birdie’, Frank and I agreed that for every birdie we drop, we’d donate $50 dollars to Prostate Cancer UK in honor of our upcoming trip to England for YouTube Golf Day.

The rain mostly held off, with a just few drops on the back nine, but we got all 18 in. Afterwards, we chatted with Jim in the clubhouse for our new segment called Clubhouse Stories

In this episode, Jim gives us the backstory of ACCC, the story about the birdie, and tells some funny stories about Al Capone, Frank Sinatra, and Arnold Palmer (just to name a few).

So how many birdies did we make?  Well, you got to watch it to find out!
