Erik Anders Lang has firmly risen to the top of golfs new media. His adventures in golf series has taken him all over the world, he’s become friends with the sports superstars and has even been on the Golficity podcast.

Kicking it with Erik Anders Lang

This week we sat down with Erik Anders Lang at Golf & Body NYC to chat about his upcoming third season of “Adventures in Golf” as well as his soon-to-be-released and highly anticipated documentary, “Be the Ball,” where Erik explores the mental game in a way that’s never been done before.

With every new adventure in this great game you would think he’s done it all right? One thing he hadn’t done was meet Tiger Woods. Tiger is so damn busy, getting to meet him is like winning the lottery.

But let’s be honest, the lottery probably had better odds. Fresh off his win at the Zozo Championship Tiger and EAL where both at a Taylormade event. This was EAL’s chance to meet Tiger. With everything EAL has done, this was the most nervous he had ever been.

Meeting Tiger Woods – NEVER Been This Nervous

When Erik Anders Lang met Tiger Woods he had no idea how nervous he would be. Sweaty palms and all, Erik asks Tiger Woods for a photo and they even share a brief chat about watches – specifically his Rolex DeepSea and Erik then tells the story of Tiger’s Tudor Watch Partnership and the Tudor Prince Chronograph with the red letters spelling TIGER on the dial.

He even took the time to ask Tiger about his watch that has had timepiece lovers talking. I’ve been a fan of EAL for awhile now but I can finally relate to something he’s done even if I haven’t. If I was meeting Tiger I’d probably act a little less cool than he did.

It also reminds me of the time Golficity Mike had the balls to do it with no introduction; but Tiger didn’t look too thrilled!

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
