Most sports fans are watching “The Last Dance” on ESPN every Sunday night. The epic documentary highlights the final championship of the Jordan Bulls (and his career), while showing sports fans more than Jordan’s dominance on the basketball court. It has shown his significant love of golf and his obsession with the game. Jordan loved the game so much that last year he opened his own private golf club called The Grove XXIII.

His club is so private and hard to get into that he plans on keeping the membership to under 100 members. One member set to join The Grove is Phil Mickelson.

While appearing on the Dan Patrick Show, Phil spoke about his future club. “It’s a really cool place,” Mickelson said. “He did an exceptional job there.” Phil went on to explain the invitation process of the club. “Fortunately, I know a number of members there, and my wife and I just bought a lot fairly close, about 10 to 15 minutes away. So it’ll be a great place to play and practice.” Phil and Amy have said that once their youngest graduates from high school, they will be moving from California to Florida. Joining Jordan’s new club just made this planned move official.

The Grove XXIII is located in Hobe Sound about 10 minutes away from the Medalist where Tiger and Rickie Fowler put in their work. Well… for now anyway.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
