What if I took away all your clubs and only left you playing with your putter to use from tee to green? No shot right?

For Anthony Griggs that was NO problem. The Arizona native played in an Amateur Tournament in Arizona with just his putter. That’s right just the putter, its not like he had all 14 clubs in the bag and didn’t use them, no, he just carried the putter and still was able to post an 84 on the scorecard.

If shooting an 84 wasn’t good enough, he then went on to win the tournament that day. His 200 yard balls off the tee included with his Phenomenal putting stroke, was able to gear him towards a win.

Griggs became very good at the game of golf, but that wasn’t enough for him. He got bored of playing the same golf everyday and was looking to seek a new way to play the game.

After a friend had suggested to use only his putter for a round, Griggs decided to finally give it try during a range session and after a couple of good swings, he figured out that he could hit the ball pretty well. Ever since that range session with the putter, till this day he’s been using only that club during his rounds of golf.

He started using a Scotty Cameron putter, until it broke, but that was no problem from him. He went to a nearby Goodwill store purchased a $2.99 putter and the rest is history.

For four years now Anthony Griggs has been working on his new way to play the game and since has been promoted to compete at a higher level than he did previously.
