Well golf world, sure it was cool to see Brooks Koepka get back in the winners circle (I made a large sum of money off of it), but the main question everyone has is this: Is Jordan Spieth back? Although he had a disappointing Sunday after sharing the 54-hole lead with Xander Schauffele, Jordan had one of the most electric rounds I’ve ever watched on Saturday en route to a 10 under 61.

That was truly the most fun I’ve had watching golf, other than Tiger’s win at Augusta, since Spieth’s last win at Royal Birkdale in 2017. But does this brief display of golf really confirm the affirmation that Jordan Spieth is completely back? Probably not, but god I hope so.

If there was a week where Jordan was going to follow up the Waste Management with another good showing, it’d be the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Despite his struggles the past few years, Jordan has still shown out here, posting a T9 last year. He’s had a top 25 finish in 7 of his last 8 starts here, so I would expect to see him take some of that momentum from last week and build on it at a course where he should be comfortable.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the fact that Dustin Johnson won another freaking golf tournament over in Saudi Arabia on the European Tour. This guy is having one of the most impressive stretches of golf we’ve seen in quite some time, and that’s reflected with the 4/1 odds that DraftKings Sportsbook slapped on him this week. I’d stay away from him, but if he slips behind on the first day, he could be worth a live bet if he got a little bit closer to the 10/1 range. That being said, let’s get into the real picks this week.

To Win The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: Patrick Cantlay (+1000)

Last week, I gave out Scottie Scheffler as my winner, and I truly thought he might pull that one out, but he finished T7 after a tough final round. This week, I’m loving Patrick Cantlay.

I think that any odds that are 10/1 and over, especially with a little bit weaker of a field, are fine for a guy like him. He’s an incredible ball striker, and like I said a few weeks ago, he’s really figured out the putter. Like the PGA West Stadium Course, a lot of the greens this week are small, and Cantlay finished solo 2nd there just a few weeks ago.

To Finish Top 10 at The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: Cameron Davis (+450)

Justin Thomas had a tough Sunday that led him to finishing outside of the Top 10 last week, but he gets a pass as I’m sure he had other things on his mind due to the passing of his grandfather. As for this week, picking Cameron Davis is following a bit of the same pattern as Cantlay. He finished solo 3rd at The American Express, and he’s played well recently, as well as in the past at this tournament.

To Finish Top 20 at The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: Kyoung Hoon-Lee (+350)

Corey Conners got it done for us last week, finishing at T17 and cashing the Top 20 bet at +275. This week, we’re going with a guy that I plan on picking to win as a longshot on The Pin High Podcast that drops on Wednesday. He played great last week and he’s really great around the greens, so I like him to put up a solid week out in California.

Two Matchup Picks: (Record in 2021: 6-3-1)

Alexander Noren (+100) over Rickie Fowler

Brendan Steele (-110) over James Hahn

LOCK of The Week: Kevin Streelman Top 40 (-125)

Last week, we extended the lock of the week winning streak to 4, so what could go wrong? Kevin Streelman hasn’t even finished outside the top 20 in this tournament since I was a sophomore in high school. I’m graduating college this spring for some perspective on that. This is an absolute mortal lock, and the winning streak is reaching 5.

The stretch of good tournaments (and bets) continues. Good luck this week.
