Winter comes up on us fast. For most of us probably not as fast as it hit these kids at the Montana Boys AA State Championship.

It’s the beginning of October and these kids are using their towels to clean the snow off the green, not mud off their ball. What catches my eye more, besides the snow is that they seem completely fine with the conditions. One player nearly makes a putt, another is lining up his shot all while wearing winter jackets.

But I get it. This isn’t Florida, it’s Montana. If this was being played in Georgia or Florida the State would be shut down. Not Montana.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
