Another Reason To Love Rickie Fowler

Who doesn’t love Ricky Fowler? He’s been one of the most universally loved players on Tour for over a decade. The biggest problem we have is that he hasn’t been able to win a major yet.

He’s come close but hasn’t been able to close it out yet. He’s on his way this year with putts like this.

All that aside, he’s still a man of the people and a fan favorite. I mean, the guy signs autographs after every round, regardless of his score.

He did the same thing for the standard bearer who walked with him during the US Open. He came out with a couple of signed golf balls and thanked them for walking with him.

Think about that one for a second. They get to walk with the current leader of the US Open with the best volunteer job. Then Ricky gives them a gift and thanks them.

Talk about a moment of a lifetime. Now all that’s left is for him to close it out with a win!

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
