BREAKING: Brooks Appears To Have Signed A Deal With Srixon
Since Nike Golf abruptly left the equipment market in August 2016, Brooks Koepka has been unsigned to an OEM equipment sponsorship deal and played each and every club he’s wanted, along with the freedom to change at the drop of a hat.
It appears that all might be coming to an end very, very soon.

Srixon Golf teased yesterday on their instagram that the 4-time Major winner might be coming on board, with the possibility of a full bag equipment deal that could include the Srixon golf ball. No word or signs that it could include a putter.
While the video does not explicitly show Koepka’s face or mention his name, certain stills tell you everything you need to know, such as the Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour shoes that Koepka’s been wearing for a while:
And the bracelet:
This could be a huge announcement for Srixon, particularly just days ahead of Koepka’s match with Bryson, who traditionally takes a more conservative approach with player signing, and Koepka, who hasn’t been locked into an equipment deal for more than 5 years.
Koepka could be joining some accomplished colleagues, including current defending Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama (cannot wait to see what that Masters’ menu looks like) and 2019 Open champion Shane Lowry, along with Keegan Bradley, J. B. Holmes, and Graeme McDowell.
It is also worth noting that this indicates that Koepka has really become comfortable with the Srixon equipment line over this year. In January 2021, Koepka took out the Mizuno JPX Tours that he had been playing for 2 different iterations and replaced them with the Srixon ZX7 forged irons.
Notably, around that time a Cleveland/Srixon spokesperson stated at the time: “We can confirm that we have been working with Brooks. He has been testing all of our products.”
For sake of completeness, at the 2021 Ryder Cup (2021), Koepka had in the bag:
- TaylorMade SIM2 Driver (10.5°);
- TaylorMade M2 Tour HL (High Launch) 3 Wood (16.5°);
- Nike Vapor Pro (3) Driving Iron;
- Srixon ZX7 (4-PW) Irons;
- Titleist Vokey Design SM8 (52° and 56°) and Vokey TVD (60°) Wedges;
- Scotty Cameron Teryllium TNP2 Putter; and
- Titleist Pro V1x Golf Ball.
Koepka has played with Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord, which were also visible in the Srixon Instagram teaser.
