Brooks Koepka is BACK.

Brooks has officially committed to playing in next week’s CJ Cup. Koepka hasn’t seen action since missing the cut at the Wyndham Championship. He would later WD from the Northern Trust, ending his 2019-2020 campaign. The 2-time US Open Champion also missed Winged Foot a few weeks ago due to the same injury.

Brooks won this tournament back in 2018, the only difference being that he was victorious at the home site of the tournament. This year, due to COVID-19, the CJ Cup was moved from Korea to Shadow Creek in Las Vegas. If you remember, Shadow Creek was the host venue for the original Match between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.

After watching Bryson win the US Open from his couch, I’m thinking Brooks might come back next week with a little fire under his ass (which is not good for the rest of the TOUR).

I grew up in southern New Hampshire, where I first fell in love with the game of golf. I started by just going out and messing around with my buddies and focusing purely on having a good time! I never took golf seriously until I moved down to Tampa, FL to attend the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! At the start of my junior year I got a job working as a cart boy at a local private country club. This is when I started to focus on golf becoming my career. During the fall of my senior year, I turned from a 14 handicap, to a 2. I passed the PAT scoring test my first try and haven't looked back.
