Brooks Koepka’s Choice Language After a Bunker Shot Shows He’s One of Us

Brooks Koepka’s choice language after a bunker shot shows he’s one of us…well, sort of.

Take out the millions Koepka has won from playing professional golf, the five Major Championships, the model Wife, and the massive mansion on the water in Jupiter, Florida, and yeah, he’s one of us.

When Koepka is on the course, he is one of the fiercest competitors out there. One of the few that has fended off Tiger Woods on Sunday at a Major, Koepka’s most recent display of language after a less-than-acceptable bunker shot shows we all have a little bit of self-degradation in our tanks after we do something we shouldn’t have.

For us, it’s at the local course when we bottle a six-footer and pull a tee shot into the trees during a $5-a-hole match with friends.

For Koepka, it’s hitting a bunker shot well short of the hole when playing for millions of dollars at the LIV Golf Jeddah event.

Let’s face it: the only thing we have in common with Brooks is the language he uses to describe himself after he hits a bad one. We all know we’ve had similar sentiments about ourselves at one point or another.

It’s not all bad for Brooks, though. After the first day of the three-day LIV Golf Jeddah event. He sits T-2 with both Harold Varner and Dustin Johnson at -4, just one back of Marc Leishman, who is currently in the lead after a bogey-free 67.
