Bryson DeChambeau is Back for The Memorial Tournament
It hasn’t been the recovery process Bryson has hoped for. He had wrist surgery 4 days after the Masters. He recently tried to commit to the PGA Championship but had to pull out because he still wasn’t ready yet. Two weeks later, the 2018 winner is now ready for The Memorial Tournament.

Bryson gave golf fans some encouraging news today. Bryson said, “I’m actually excited!” It’s been a long time coming.
Look, do I know I can finish out the week? Yeah. Do I know that I can contend? Yes. Do I know that I can finally enjoy golf again? Yes. That’s a big step for me and my health and my mental state.” As Bryson has alluded to, this time off has given him time to reevaluate his life and also his faith.

This will be the true test this week if the former champion is ready to take on four rounds at this weekend’s tournament. He has not played a tournament since the Masters while missing the cut in his last two starts.
Not only that, the U.S. Open is in 2 weeks in Brookline Massachusetts. It will give the 2020 U.S. Open Champion at least a week to recover and prepare for golf’s third major of the year.
