Callaway is launching three new models of irons with the Ai200, Ai300, and Apex Ti Fusion preparing to hit the market in the coming week.

Combining forged bodies with the Ai Smart Face Technology that improves distance, feel, and spin brings perhaps the two most well-rounded models that the industry has seen to the market, while the third option aims to offer no limitations with an ultra-premium design.

Each new iron model offers specific advantages for every playing style, type, and skill level, bringing forgiveness and confidence with new engineering and technology. This is Callaway’s most advanced iron lineup to date in terms of what the company has put into the face and design, aiming to bring a stronger game to anyone who plays them.

Apex Ai200

Callaway calls the Apex Ai200 its “most complete players distance iron.” It features a hollow-body design combined with a Forged 455 Face Cup that creates not only Tour-level sound but also a premium profile.

The Forged 455 Face Cup brings an enhanced feel and outstanding speed to players.

Available in a 4-AW and coming standard with True Temper DG Mid 100 Steel Shafts or UST Mamiya HDC Recoil Dart Graphite Shafts, the Apex Ai 200s bring a unique combination of speed, feel, and consistency to a single iron design.

These will be available on Friday, August 16, and will cost $1,399.99.

Apex Ai300

Geared for game improvement, the Apex Ai300 has an elegant cavity-back design and a slightly large profile that exudes confidence for mid-to-high handicappers who need some extra help with launch, distance, and forgiveness.

Playing game-improvement irons is truly a blessing for many players because it helps make a very complicated game a lot simpler.

Callaway’s idea for the Apex Ai300 was to combine performance and forgiveness in a single iron head, while also bringing up-to-date technology to the table. The forged cavity-back design of the iron also features the Forged 455 Face Cup for Tour-level sound and feel.

It is similar to its sibling in the Apex Ai200 as it still provides players with speed, feel, and consistency; something very needed for most players who will find advantages from this iron.

The Apex Ai300 irons are available in 4-AW, and come stock with True Temper DG Mid 90 Steel Shafts or UST Mamiya HDC Recoil Dart Graphite Shafts. These will also be available on August 16 and will be priced at $1,399.99.

Apex Ti Fusion

The Apex Ti Fusion is Callaway’s most advanced iron. These offer no limitations for players who want breakthrough speed, feel, and control, and can handle the look and design of these true players irons.

This is the first-ever forged titanium face for an iron, which helps with faster ball speeds and increased power, which means more distance.

It is not for the faint of heart and breaks the tradeoff between a traditional one-piece and two-piece iron, as Callaway created more deflection than steel, with more urethane interaction and a forged body.

It also has an advanced titanium face and hollow-body construction, which provides a feel that the best players will appreciate.

Meanwhile, it still offers some forgiveness as the Ai Smart Face will generate speed and spin consistency, helping players maintain stability in their distances for more confidence and tighter dispersion.

They are also (in my opinion) some of the best-looking irons on the market currently.

These will be available on August 16 and will retail for $2,100 for a standard seven-piece set.
