Callaway Golf said:

“Callaway does not condone Phil Mickelson’s comments and we were very disappointed in his choice of words — they in no way reflect our values or what we stand for as a company. Phil has apologized and we know he regrets how he handled recent events. We recognize his desire to take time away from the game and respect that decision. At this time we have agreed to pause our partnership & will re-evaluate our ongoing relationship at a later date.”

Callaway becomes the fourth sponsor of Mickelson’s to end their partnership for the time being including: KPMG, Amstel Light and Workday.

Mickelson and Callaway originally reached an agreement in 2017 that extended Mickelson to play the brands equipment for the rest of his playing career.

I’m sure this isn’t the result Mickelson wanted from his interview with Alan Shipnuck.

What do you think is next for Phil?
