Cam Tringale to LIV: First New Signing Confirmed!
Cameron Tringale just released a statement confirming his departure from the PGA Tour, and signing with LIV Golf.
He was one of many names that have circulated this week, rumoured to be signing with LIV. He is one of three Cameron’s mentioned, along with Young and Smith. Tringale has been part of the PGA Tour for thirteen years, and acknowledges as much in his statement.

Via Instagram, Tringale said:
“Playing the PGA Tour has been the thrill of a lifetime. I have achieved much in this game, accomplishing many of my goals”.
“Thank you Tiger, Arnie and Jack, for paving the way for the professional game to be where it is today. You have created a marketplace for the rest of us and I am forever indebted to you”.

I felt the statement was well-written, showed genuine appreciation for the PGA Tour and was in no way an effort to speak out against the PGA as Pat Perez, Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, and Patrick Reed have done. I do not expect to see Tringale’s name joining any lawsuits.
Cameron Tringale leaves the PGA Tour as the all-time leader in career earnings without a PGA Tour win. Perhaps the first domino in the next wave of LIV signings has fallen!
