Golf Clubhouse Goes Up in Flames in Tellico Village
On Saturday, Tanasi Golf Course in Tellico Village, Tennessee, went up in flames. The report has it that the fire began in the kitchen, according to the Loudoun County’s Sheriff’s Office, and eventually overtook the entire building. Thankfully, the whole staff evacuated quickly, and there were no injuries.
As seen in the pictures below, the devastation is described well enough by the photos.

Chief Deputy Jimmy Davis said:
“At this time, we are investigating the fire and believe it to be a result of a kitchen fire… While the building is a total loss, we are thankful that all those inside were evacuated quickly and no loss of life occurred.”
Moving Forward
It will most certainly be challenging for this working community during this time to take the next step to come back even stronger. As they say, things can be replaced, but people can’t. That is one thing that all involved in this situation can be grateful for.
Tanasi Golf Course will suspend future play on the course until further notice.
