Cameron Champ is the Second PGA TOUR Player to Test Positive for COVID-19

Cameron Champ has withdrawn from this week’s Travelers Championship after testing positive for COVID-19.

Given last week’s news of Nick Watney testing positive during an event followed by today’s news regarding Cameron Champ the future of the 2020 PGA season may be in jeopardy. Champ said that he’s feeling great and “It’s important now to take the necessary steps and measures to protect others, including my loved ones,”.

If one of the top ten in the world comes down with Coronavirus you can rest assure that the PGA TOUR will just shut everything down. I’m sure there is more to come on this but for now the Tour has two active cases with likely more to come.
