Charles Barkley is Over ‘Idiotic’ PGA TOUR and LIV Golf ‘Fools’

Charles Barkley has had enough.

But then again, so have most of us.

All we all want is to see our favorite players in the world competing against one another on a golf course a few times a month, but the PGA TOUR and LIV Golf are still not at any point where that can happen outside of the four Major Championships.

Barkley said yesterday that he is sick and tired of the “fools” who are keeping the sport at a divide, wishing that terms to a merger could be agreed upon so golf can be entertaining and competitive once again.

Barkley joined SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio to talk about the disservice the TOUR and LIV are doing to fans:

“I wish these fools would quit screwing around, LIV and the PGA Tour. I don’t know what the hell they’re doing. They’re so stupid. These guys are so idiotic. They need to be playing against each other more than] the majors.”

He’s 100 percent correct. There needs to be a solution to what has happened to professional golf. It is fractured and stale, and although players like Rory McIlroy have even said they believe things will be agreed to by the end of the year, we really have not seen too many developments that prove this to be the case.

We are coming down to two months left in the year, and there is still no real indication that things between the TOUR and LIV will be resolved.

When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
