PGA TOUR Pro Chesson Hadley Tries Hand Working at Bojangles
Those who have had the opportunity to eat at Bojangles’ know how good their food is, particularly their biscuits. While it is normal to be a big fan of the fast food restaurant, one PGA TOUR Pro is taking is fandom to the next level.
Many of the players that are participating in the Wells Fargo Championship this week are enjoying their off-time in a variety of ways but Chesson Hadley has decided to spend his by working at the local Bojangles’ to see exactly how his favorite biscuits are made. But don’t worry, Hadley isn’t looking for a new career, unlike Ian Poulter he still has his full PGA privileges (wink, wink) and has had some success on the Tour.

Hadley first burst onto the PGA scene after becoming the Tour’s rookie of the year in 2014. That year, Hadley captured his first PGA title, winning the Puerto Rico Open. Prior to that Hadley won two tournaments on the Web.com Tour in 2013 before moving up to the PGA TOUR. Since then, however, Hadley has been unable to capture a title.
Going back to his work at Bojangles’, Hadley, like the rest of us, is most fascinated by the biscuits.
“There is an art to making biscuits,” he said “I called it Bojangles’ science. There are ways to pick up the biscuits. You have to place the biscuits on the tray a certain way. There is a very precise way of doing this, and that’s why they’re so good.”

On the course, Hadley is hoping that his relaxing time will help him get his first win in three years, one that would be special since it would come in his home state. “I’ve got tons of friends and family coming down. The weather looks like it’s going to be good, except for a little bit Friday morning. The course is in phenomenal shape and it’s just going to be a great week,” Hadley said.
Hopefully, Hadley will be able to pull off the victory at Eagle Point this weekend but he isn’t able to, at least he knows he has a fallback job at the Wilmington Bojangles’.
