Confirmed: Players signed on to the LIV Series are eligible to tee it up next week at the BMW International Open.

The DP World Tour has permitted players like Sergio Garcia and Bernd Weisberger to the field for next week’s event in Wentworth.

Past winners include Viktor Hovland, Matt Wallace, and Henrik Stenson, as well as LIV’s new signings Martin Kaymer and Lee Westwood, with wins in 2008 and 2003 respectively.

It is yet to be confirmed if the DP World Tour will continue to open their doors to the likes of Dustin Johnson and those who have resigned their membership to the PGA Tour.

The PGA Tour has suspended 17 of its members after their affiliations to the LIV Series, and the DP World Tour is in a precarious but powerful position as it remains to be seen how they will continue to operate in the current climate with the divisive nature of the LIV and PGA Tours.
