Did Sergio Garcia Accidentally Reveal the Next LIV Golf Member?
Last week, it was revealed through the ever-churning LIV Golf rumor mill that Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, and Mito Pereira would be getting big offers to join the LIV tour for 2023.
While it appears that Schauffele and Cantaly will be staying put for now, LIV has had more success pulling in international golfers, and the Chilean Pereira could be the next to leap from the PGA Tour.
At Sergio Garcia’s charity event over the weekend, a who’s who of LIV series pros attended. Along with the likes of Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Brooks Koepka, Charl Schwartzel, and Eugenio Chacarra-Lopez was Pereira himself.
Pereira stuck out like a sore thumb in this photo shared by the Garcia team as the only PGA Tour player to be represented at the event:

If Pereira does jump, he would join Joaquin Niemann as another famous golfer from Chile on the LIV tour.
In three starts on the PGA Tour this season, Pereira’s best finish is a fourth at the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas.
