DJ Khaled Predicts JT Will Win ‘Anotha One’ This Weekend at The PGA Championship

Justin Thomas won the 2017 PGA Championship, but one was not enough because last year, he won “anotha one,” as DJ Khaled would say.

JT is in Oak Hill hoping to defend his PGA Championship, where, entering the final round of last year’s tournament, he had less than a 5 percent chance of hosting the Wannamaker Trophy. But following an epic collapse by Mito Pereira on the 72nd Hole, the door swung open for the Alabama Alum, who took home his second major and his second PGA Crown.

DJ Khaled, a recently-avid golfer and evident fan of Justin Thomas, had plenty to say in his reasoning for picking JT to win the tournament for the third time, which would make him only the third golfer to accomplish that feat, joining Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus, who have won 4 and 5 Wannamaker Trophies, respectively.

Khaled recently picked up the sport of golf as a hobby and has gone as far as having a chipping area and practice green built in his backyard. A man of many words, with the vast majority of them being positive and optimistic, DJ Khaled is one of the most notable music producers in the last fifteen years.

His interest into golf is surprising but also great for the growth of the game.

JT sits T40 at +2 and will tee off for the second round at 1:36 PM EDT.
