“This is next-level Exotics,” said Tour Edge founder and President David Glod. “It’s a brand-new direction for Exotics, not only with ground-breaking new tech, but with virtually every aspect of the design.”
The new direction of the Exotics 721 Series was born out of a desire to raise the bar in every metric of Exotics performance, including a major emphasis on power creation and sound and feel.
With respect to the new metalwoods, Glod stated: “With Exotics 721, we have forged a new path to optimal performance, power and feel for the vast majority of golfers. The key is utilizing more carbon fiber than we have ever used, about 20% more on the driver and fairway with these awesome Carbon Wings that surround our new Ridgeback tech, and our first ever carbon crown hybrid.”
“We also have upgraded our Diamond Face tech to Diamond Face 2.0 that has doubled the amount of interweaving variable thicknesses and an extreme thinning of the face to create more power and forgiveness at the extreme perimeters,” added Glod.

Starting with the big dog, the C721 is designed to have an optimized CG (Center of Gravity) location and extreme M.O.I. (Moment of Inertia) properties that makes this Tour Edge’s most advanced driver ever produced.
3 technologies come together to make the C721: Ridgeback Technology, a titanium spine that runs through the middle of the crown to produce more support, increased ball speed, additional forgiveness on every contact point of the face, and improved feel; Dual Carbon Wings, that allow for substantial weight savings and more low-rearward weight positioning to help produce extreme M.O.I. in the clubhead for increased stability at impact; and Diamond Face 2.0 Technology, that now features features 7 different thicknesses (as opposed to the prior 3) in an interweaving pattern that provides additional ball speed on off-center strikes.
The C721 is also equipped with an adjustable, rear back weight and adjustable hosel to help dial in ball flight.
The C721 is also offered with a few different shafts for different swing speeds:
- 85 MPH or Below: Fujikura Air Speeder;
- 85-95 MPH: Fujikura Ventus Red 4T Core;
- 95-105 MPH: Project X HZRDUS Smoke Blue RDX; and
- 105 MPH or Above: Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX.

The C721 Fairway Metal and Hybrid follow the Driver’s footsteps. While only the Fairway Metals will also benefit from Ridgeback Technology, both the Fairway Metals & Hybrids will feature Carbon Wings and Diamond Face 2.0.
The Exotics C721 Driver, Fairway Metal and Hybrids are available for purchase worldwide on February 15, 2021, and will retail for $400, $250 and $220, respectively.
And to help finish off your bag, the C721 and E721 irons.

“VIBRCOR is a new technology that enhances speed and feel in a major way,” said Glod. “With the dual placement of VIBRCOR inside of the hollow-body pocket of the C721 and the undercut pocket of the E721, we’re able to provide the best of both worlds; perimeter weighted forgiveness and distance with the feel of a forged muscle-back.”
These two designs utilize the same basic design concept, with one designed as a player’s distance iron (the C721) and the other as an extreme game improvement iron (the E721).
“We’ve also brought Diamond Face technology to irons for the first time ever with this release,” added Glod. “We were able to cover the entire iron face with up to 100 diamond shapes behind the face in our thinnest iron face ever produced.”
The Exotics C721 Iron features a smaller, more classic shape, more traditional lofts and a thinner topline that is ideal for a broad range of golfers. But to make sure the C721 is equipped with plenty of firepower, it will feature a high-grade, ultra-light TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) injected into the hollow-body pocket to create new speed-inducing and feel-enhancing technology called VIBRCOR.
In the C721, VIBRCOR is located in the clubhead to create the sound and feel of a forged muscle-back iron.
The extreme distance Exotics E721 Iron is designed with a larger footprint and a wider sole that utilizes hollow-body VIBRCOR and Diamond Face 2.0 technology. To help provide additional forgiveness and promote optimal launch, the E721 is a 1-piece high-strength steel body with a 360-degree Undercut Design that lowers the CG to produce a higher launch and increased face flexing, ball speed and overall distance across the entire face.

The Exotics C721 Iron (Player’s Distance) will retail for $142.99 per iron in graphite and $129.99 in steel, while the Exotics E721 Iron (Extreme Game Improvement) will retail at $114.99 per iron in graphite and $99.99 in steel. Both are scheduled to be available for purchase worldwide on March 10, 2021.
