FIRST LOOK: TaylorMade’s New Qi10 LS Driver in Tiger Woods’ Bag

A first look at the new TaylorMade Qi10 LS driver has emerged, with Tiger Woods being the first to sport the driver at this weekend’s Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.

Earlier this month, TaylorMade’s Qi10 LS driver hit the USGA’s Conforming Club List, with the major changes to the club featuring a new carbon fiber clubface instead of titanium. Additionally, it features the TaylorMade Speed Pocket and a sliding weight to help manipulate a certain shot shape for players who are in need of a little extra assistance. 

Todd Lewis first shared the images of the Qi10 LS on X earlier today, confirming it will be in Tiger’s bag for the weekend:

The black and white photos that the USGA Conforming List shared did not reveal the true look of the driver, as we can see from these photos that the driver head will feature blue and yellow accents throughout. It also appears that Tiger’s driver, in particular, features a heavy emphasis on the draw setting.

Plenty of people are waiting to see how the driver will perform in competition, especially as the Stealth lineup from the previous two years was among the most successful in terms of an increase in distance and forgiveness. I have played the Stealth driver and Three Wood in my bag for the past two years, and they have benefitted me significantly.

Tiger Woods was using TaylorMade’s soon-to-be released Qi10 driver on the range today.

Comes a day after a new version of the driver landed on the USGA’s conforming list.

Both Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood have also been spotted using the Qi10 LS earlier this month, just after it landed on the USGA Conforming List.

We will have more information in the coming weeks as more should be known about the Qi10 LS after this weekend, with upcoming promotional material likely set to be teased for OEMs and their releases for 2024.
