Frankie Capan fired the second-ever 58 on the Korn Ferry Tour with a -13 round at the Veritex Bank Championship on Thursday at Texas Rangers Golf Club.

Capan shot back-to-back 29s on the front and back at the course, including seven straight birdies to open up the back nine.

Capan parred the Par-5 18th hole for the 58. Of the three Par 5s on the course, Capan eagled one and birdied the other.

As far as statistics, Capan found himself hitting 11 of 14 fairways, a 78.57 percent driving accuracy performance. His longest drive was 373 yards, which was somehow tied for 34th in the field.

Perhaps the most obvious stats that led to his incredible 58 were the greens in regulation and putts per GIR, which both ranked first. He hit 17 of 18 greens in regulation and averaged just 1.29 putts in that category.

This year, Capan has played eight events, making the top 10 in two of them and making the cut in five.
