Full Swing Simulators Adds Another Two-Time Major Champion as Brand Ambassador
Not too long ago, the only launch monitors you would see on the driving range at a professional event were from Trackman and Foresight.
But that changed during Fall 2021 when Full Swing debuted the KIT, a personal, radar-system launch monitor that was backed by the man who moves every needle in the golf word: Tiger Woods.

To explain, Tiger had long been a partner of Full Swing’s installed systems (which frequently cost in the six-figure neighborhood), but was forced to look elsewhere when he decided to travel and play outside. Realizing there was an opportunity too good to pass up, Full Swing decided to break into the ever growing personal launch monitor space by undercutting Trackman and Foresight (who had been acquired Bushnell just before the release of the KIT).
Since its release, the KIT has been a well-received system. At $4,000, the KIT provides an abundance of accurate data, works indoors and outdoors, can be used a launch monitor or golf simulator and also records every golf swing in 4K resolution.

I mention all of this because Full Swing has partnered with some additional golfers in recent to help promote its system. Specifically, 2-time Major Champion Dustin Johnson has joined Team Full Swing alongside Tiger, Jon Rahm, Jordan Spieth, Jason Day and Gary Woodland.
While DJ isn’t known as a hyper technical golfer, it is important to note that he has credited Trackman for a lot of his success, noting that it “has been one of the most effective tools at the highest level of golf,” and helped lead to his 2 Major victories. As a result, it’ll be interesting to see how DJ’s partnership can help elevate the quality of features that Full Swing.

While it certainly doesn’t speak to the quality of the Full Swing systems, it cannot be ignored that a brand very close to Tiger—who has been very anti-LIV since its inception—and the official technology partner of the TGL is now injecting itself into the PGA v. LIV feud. That said, perhaps this is the first sign that there may be good news coming from the extended PGA-DPWT-LIV negotiation deadline.
