Golf Community Mourns of the Loss of Barstool’s Cody ‘Beef’ Franke
The golf community has a heavy heart today as Barstool’s Fore Play division, which creates golf content, announced the loss of Cody “Beef” Franke, who joined the team earlier this year.
Beef was an avid player and fan of the game, and made the sport, his passion, a career. Cody was a PGA Professional and joined Barstool under the same title.
Barstool announced the loss of Beef on Monay, stating he had passed from a “sudden medical issue over the weekend.” Franke was reportedly at a wedding in the Dominican Republic at the time of his passing.
Barstool lost a member of our family this weekend. Just tragic news. You will never find a nicer more genuine person than Beef. It’s hard to even process it right now. Just another cruel reminder that tomorrow is never promised and to live each day to its fullest. #RipBeef pic.twitter.com/wHMhkYWa1R

Beef had a genuine tone to his content and truly loved helping golfers figure out this impossible game. We at Golficity would like to share our condolences to the Barstool team, as well as the Franke family.
Barstool said it best:
“Just another cruel reminder that tomorrow is never promised and to live each day to its fullest. #RIPBeef”
