Golf Podcast Episode 74 Avoid this Mental Game Mistake

In his breakthrough mental game book “Zen Golf” Dr. Joseph Parent refers to one very common mental game mistake as an “anyway.”  So what exactly is an “anyway?”  An “anyway” occurs when you line up to take a shot knowing in your gut that something is wrong and you take the shot “anyway.”  An “anyway” can be something as simple as using the wrong club because you don’t want to walk back to the cart to retrieve the correct one, or even taking a swing when you’re not comfortable with your tee height because you don’t want to step away and make an adjustment.

In this episode of The Golf Podcast hosts Frank & Mike discuss why “anyways” can cause you to loose important strokes and how you can avoid this small mental game mistake by bringing your awareness to it with a few simple techniques.

Remember, discipline is the key!
