Golf Pride Offering Limited Release of the V55 Grips
They say “legends never die,” and that would certainly apply to Golf Pride‘s V55 grips. Originally released in 2004, the V55’s have since merged the modern day performance of Tour Velvet into the “Grip Rite Swing Rite” design of the Victory grip in honor of Golf Pride’s 55 year history of grip innovation.
Indeed, the V55 has quickly become a cult classic and mainstay in countless golf bags thanks to its perfect blend of responsiveness, feel and its throwback design for more consistent hand placement.
And starting today, it’s back for a limited time.

These grips are in heavy demand and are obviously missed by golfers who might have used them in the past. eBay has a set going for over $200, and another used set for $149.
Luckily, Golf Pride listened to the fans and brought the V55 back.
Available in cord and rubber in standard size (but sadly, for North America only), Golf Pride is bringing back the V55. Pricing for the Corded Grip will be $12.99, and $11.99 Non-Corded (Rubber) Grip.
