Ian Poulter has had quite a comeback season after almost losing his PGA TOUR card this time last year. And since he has been able to tout his golf skills, Poulter has been able to make some extra purchases.

Now back to the 28th rank in the world, Poulter is once again using his spare change to buy himself a few gifts. One of those gifts was a Porsche he treated himself to a few weeks ago (it was his first).

But Poults is Ferrari man at heart, after all, he owns five of them!

More impressive than the car collection, however, is what Ian is able to fit into his Ferrari GTC4Lusso. Over the weekend at the Italian Open, Poulter was playing on the European Tour and wanted to take his Ferrari for a spin. To do that, however, Poulter was going to have to find a way to pack all of his gear into the tiny sports car.

And find a way he did!

Poulter posted a picture on Instagram with the Ferrari packed to the brim with golf gear he would need for the tournament.

The items that you see him fitting into the trunk are one tour bag and clubs, one travel bag for clubs, two suitcases, two pieces of hand luggage, one gym equipment bag, three bottles of wine, and caddie Terry Mundy’s dirty laundry bag.

You have to admit it’s pretty darn impressive that so much stuff was fit into so small of a car. I’m not sure most people would be able to fit all of that into their SUV. And driving the Ferrari may have helped inspire Poulter as he collected another top ten finish in Italy.

Poulter’s packing skills are certainly impressive but his golf performance this year is still his greatest accomplishment. And if he keeps it up, Poulter may have to start finding room for trophies in that Ferrari.
