Iron Man of Golf – 54 Holes in One Epic Day

IRONMAN OF GOLF – 54 HOLES IN ONE DAY!

We recently had the opportunity to play in the “Iron Man of Golf” at Crystal Springs which involved playing three rounds of golf, using three different scoring formats, and played across three different golf courses…all in one day!

What is the most amount of golf you’ve ever played in one day? For us, it was 54 holes, played across 3 different golf courses during an epic 15-hour stretch.

And it all went down at the annual Iron Man of Golf, hosted by Crystal Springs.

The day included competing in two-man teams with a different scoring format at each golf course we visited. Here’s the breakdown:

• Crystal Springs Golf Club: Two Man Scramble
• Ballyowen Golf Club: Individual Stroke Play with Team Aggregate Scoring
• Wild Turkey Golf Club: Two Man Best Ball

Sure it was a bit exhausting, but you can sign me up for 15 hours of golf pretty much any time. And I’m pretty sure we’ll be back at it again next year!
