Jason Day Reveals RIDICULOUS Reason LIV Golf Didn’t Want Him
Jason Day revealed the ridiculous reason LIV Golf didn’t want to sign him to a contract.
Day was at one time rumored to be headed to LIV Golf after his career on the PGA TOUR had stagnated to an extent. He has managed to maintain somewhat of a resurgence since.
However, Day admits LIV Golf was once in his plans, until the league decided to pull its interest at the last second.

He revealed to Golf Digest:
“What happened was, it was a business move to just go in and explore the potential of what would happen. I said to my agent, ‘No worries, I’m happy with where I’m at, but it’s always nice to know.’ They (LIV) said, “We love Jason, but he’s too injured; he just gets too many injuries.” “I don’t blame them.”
Day suffered from lower back issues over the past few years, which widely contributed to his career’s stagnation. Day was once World #1, he’s won the PGA Championship, and was amongst the best players for multiple seasons in a row.
However, the injuries truly took a toll on Day. It ultimately cost him a LIV Golf contract, but it seems like Day is at peace with it.
