Keegan Bradley Gets Nod as U.S. Assistant Captain for Presidents Cup
Keegan Bradley has been named an Assistant Captain for the Americans at this year’s President’s Cup, just a few weeks after he won the Captaincy for next year’s Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
The PGA TOUR announced today that Bradley would join Stewart Cink, Justin Leonard, and Kevin Kisner as Assistance Captains to Jim Furyk, who will lead the Americans against an International team led by Mike Weir, who won the 2003 Masters.

Furyk commented on Bradley’s appointment:
“Keegan is a tremendous competitor with a bulldog mentality and we are looking forward to having his voice in the team room in Montreal. He has a strong passion for match play competition and I know he will be an asset to our players in 2024, as well as 2025, as he leads them into Bethpage Black for the 2025 Ryder Cup.”
Bradley was named Ryder Cup Captain earlier in July after being snubbed from the team last year despite a strong effort and favorable odds to make the team. Captain Zach Johnson, who snubbed him from the team as a player last year, was the one to call him about his selection as Ryder Cup Captain.
