Kevin Kisner and Scott Brown Shoot a +5 at The Zurich Classic of New Orleans – on One Hole
The final round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, the only official team event on the PGA Tour, was contested under Foursomes rules, meaning that each golfer alternates shots. You would think that it would reduce the likelihood of a bad hole, considering that both pros would have to be off the mark due to the format.

But that wasn’t the case for Kevin Kisner and Scott Brown, both natives of Aiken, South Carolina, and longtime partners at this event (they forced a playoff here in 2017).
Here they are, at 16-under for the tournament to this point, at the par-3 ninth hole on Sunday at TPC Louisiana:

Brown’s tee shot didn’t look bad, but it was short and bounced into the drink to the left. After a drop, Kisner had to clear a small amount of water, but a decent chip would put him safely on the green. He, however, chunked it into the water.
Brown dropped at nearly the same spot, but he took up even more sod on his chip attempt, requiring the team to take a fourth drop.
Kisner finally saved the day with a successful chip to within about 12 feet of the hole. Brown then saved quintuple bogey by draining the putt. Even with the 8, the duo finished at 2-over 74 for the day, coming home in 35th place in the tournament.
