Kevin Kisner Delivers Savage One-Liner at the Expense of Jordan Spieth
Kevin Kisner is in the booth for NBC, and his first weekend on the job has got him off to a solid start.
One early highlight in what may be a lengthy broadcasting career was calling Jordan Spieth out on his lacklustrer putting performance.
Despite Spieth’s strong start to the calendar year, “Kiz” took his chance to expose some mental flaws over the short putts, first offering some advice from the booth that he would ‘speed him up’ over the shorter putts, also expressing that Spieth looks more comfortable over the twenty-five foot putts than the three footers.
Spieth then missed the three-footer after being stood over the ball for twenty seconds, proceeding to blame discomfort and a whole host of factors. Spieth whined:
“Hill to the left, grain and wind to the right.”
Kisner dismissed the excuses, delivering:
“It’s three feet Jordan, just knock it in, bud.”

The Georgia twang brings some good character to the commentary booth, it’s refreshing to see a current player who isn’t afraid to call out some of the odd practises we see on screen. Despite this missed putt, Spieth is two shots off the lead going into Sunday, and will threaten his first title since the RBC Heritage in April 2022.
