Rickie Fowler is one of the most popular players on the PGA TOUR, and the reason why a lot of young kids get into the game. But for the first time in over a decade, Rickie is in jeopardy of missing a major.

The last major Rickie missed was the Open in 2010, and since has had many solid starts, including a runner-up at the Masters in 2018. However, over the last year and a half, he has fallen to 81st in the OWGR. While last minute invites are rare, Fowler would love to earn his way in.

He’s only made one start at the Texas Open, where finished T-19. He does have hope to get it done at the Honda, as he will enter the weekend -2, inside the cut line.

I grew up in southern New Hampshire, where I first fell in love with the game of golf. I started by just going out and messing around with my buddies and focusing purely on having a good time! I never took golf seriously until I moved down to Tampa, FL to attend the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! At the start of my junior year I got a job working as a cart boy at a local private country club. This is when I started to focus on golf becoming my career. During the fall of my senior year, I turned from a 14 handicap, to a 2. I passed the PAT scoring test my first try and haven't looked back.
