While no new additions to the 2023 LIV Golf roster have been made as of late, the tour has turned to adding golf courses to its roster in recent weeks.

After news came out that the tour will play internationally at Mayakoba in Mexico and Valderrama in Spain next year, it was announced that the circuit will add three courses in the United States to its 2023 schedule, including two with former ties to the PGA Tour.

The Gallery Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona, hosted the WGC-Match Play event in both 2007 and ’08, which were won by Henrik Stenson and Tiger Woods, respectively.

The historic Greenbrier Resort in southern West Virginia will host an event in August. The Old White course opened in 1913 and hosted the PGA Tour’s Greenbrier Classic from 2010-19. The last two winners of that event—Kevin Na and Joaquin Niemann—currently play for LIV Golf.

The third course is Cedar Ridge Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This course doesn’t have a PGA Tour history, but several LIV golfers have ties to Oklahoma.

In all, seven of the 14 tournament venues and dates are set. In addition to these three and Mayakoba and Valderrama, events were also announced for Singapore and Australia. As of now, none of the eight venues that hosted an event in 2022 has been named to the current schedule.
