Ludvig Åberg has made the jump to a new golf league.

The Bay Golf Club of the TGL, the upcoming simulator golf league run by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, will add Åberg to its roster, which includes Wyndham Clark, Shane Lowry, and Win Woo Lee.

Åberg became a household name to golf fans after last year’s Ryder Cup. However, those who did not know him by then found out about him in April after his second-place performance at The Masters, where he held the lead at one point on Sunday.

The Bay Golf Club team owner Marc Lastry said:

“We are looking forward to the launch of TGL in January 2025, and we are using this year to build excitement, energy, and passion for our team and the league.”

There are now six teams in TGL, and their rosters are as follows:

  • Atlanta Drive Golf Club: Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover,  Billy Horschel, Justin Thomas (c)
  • Bay Golf Club: Ludvig Aberg, Wyndham Clark, Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry (no captain named)
  • Boston Common Golf: Rory McIlroy (c), Keegan Bradley, Adam Scott, and formerly Tyrrell Hatton, who left for LIV Golf
  • Jupiter Links Golf Club: Tiger Woods (c), Max Homa, Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner
  • Los Angeles Golf Club: Tommy Fleetwood, Sahith Theegala, Collin Morikawa, Justin Rose (no captain named)
  • New York Golf Club: Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick (no captain named)

Inspired by the likes of Woods, Palmer, McIlroy, and Koepka, Joey plays over 100 times a year in the South Central Pennsylvania area. When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
