Ludvig Åberg Says His Landlord, a Fellow TOUR Pro, is Kicking Him Out
Ludvig Åberg said at his press conference for the TOUR Championship today that his landlord, a fellow PGA TOUR professional, is sick of him and wants to kick him out.
Of course, it is all a joke, but with Åberg’s $12.8 million in earnings this PGA TOUR season, we doubt he’ll have much of an issue finding a place to live.
Åberg lives with fellow PGA Tour pro and countryman Vincent Norrman, who agreed to a rent amount of just $400, he revealed earlier this year (via Golf Digest):
“I’m paying him $400 per month, so I’ve never lived cheaper than I do now. I started by saying $500 and then you go, ‘How about $300?’ So I said, ‘Okay, let’s do four [hundred].'”

Now, it seems Norrman and Åberg will go their separate ways, but not in a bad way. It seems the Texas Tech product is ready for his own space:
“I think Vinny, my roommate, my landlord, is kind of tired of me. I think he wants me out. We’re kind of looking for other places, which is good to have this time coming up and kind of get those things down because you don’t want to move and feel like you want to do it between tournaments. You want to make sure you have the time and find the right things and the right place.”
Åberg currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida, and it is unclear if he will stay in that area. Many PGA TOUR players live in Jupiter, which is roughly 400 miles away.
